Like Chicken Punjabi? Here Are Some Restaurants in Bhubaneswar

I’m personally a big fan of the restaurants in Bhubanewar and, among many dishes that are my personal favorites, Chicken Punjabi would probably top the list. If you are a non-vegetarian and a chicken-freak in particular, you can trust me with my choice of restaurants.

Let’s face it – Bhubaneswarians are a foodie lot. One of the many secrets why people like this place so very much is because it’s home to a wide selection of foods to choose from. From street foods to restaurant cuisines, one just doesn’t seem to run short of options at all. No wonder then why we’ve witnessed scores of multi-cuisine restaurants across the length and breadth of the city in the recent years.

Everyone in the food world is always trying to pinpoint the trend of the moment. But right now, there is a trend mash going on across the food-scape of the city. The best chefs and restaurateurs in Bhubaneswar are leaving behind the comfort-food fad and heading off in a strange new direction to accommodate the modern consumer’s taste and preference. To meet the demands of the customers, restaurants are trying to bring diversity in the menu card. They’re trying to blend in different cultures of our diverse country and serve it on a platter.

Why Chicken Punjabi is My Favorite?

Who doesn’t love the fusion? This is a ‘Balle Balle’ Punjabi curry in a thick gravy with a nice spicy flavor, but not too hot! This idea is pure genius. For all you meat lovers out there, there’s a plenty of meaty goodness that it tempts you to try out.

Some of the best Punjabi Chicken in the city is available in:

BARABATI RESTAURANT
Kharvel Nagar, Bhubaneswar

This eatery is in the heart of the town. Small and simple, yet pleasant. Plus, it has a great reputation among people who really love their food. I love the spicy flavor of Chicken Punjabi here; when teamed up with Biryani or Pulao or Laccha paratha or Naan, you name it! Both the service and the price leave you with a pleasant experience.

Tangerine 9
Near Master Canteen, Bhubaneswar

This, undoubtedly, is one of the most happening food joint in Bhubaneswar. Perfect location, great ambience, well lighted, spacious, hygienic, impeccable service and food so awesome, you’ve to struggle to restrain yourself from licking the plate. Punjabi Chicken is a hot favorite here and always leaves you wanting more. Bit expensive but worth every friggin’ dime!

Dakshin9
Niladri Vihar Road, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar

The city has another remarkable restaurant is yet another reason why the denizens are so fixated with awesome food. Been here many times before and will continue doing so. You experience savoring finger lickin’good Punjabi Chicken here just once and your taste buds remember it for a long, long time. Just the place to be if you are a foodie fan!

So I hope you check out these places sometime soon and share your experience (bad/good/average) with other people. I don’t mean to promote these places and but I think you won’t be disappointed with the Chicken Punjabi served at these places.

Have a good one!
