Vishwajeet Dash, an aspiring inde-filmmaker has created this drone montage on the recently concluded India Surf Festival 2016 at Ramchandi beach, Konark Marine Drive, Odisha.

The India Surf Festival (ISF) is a joint effort of Rangers Adventure Foundation (RAF) and Surfing Yogis at Ramchandi beach in Konark, which promotes surfing and cultural exchanges among others.

The 5th edition of the three-day popular surf event which concluded on 14th November, drew nearly 70 Indians and 30 surf enthusiasts from across 15 different countries around the world.

Nearly fifty Indians partook in the Asian Surfing Championship and Stand-up Paddle boat Championship at the ISF which also featured skim boarding for the first time along with various water sports.

While four participants from Phillipines performed skim boarding, 15 participants from Active 8 Sports Association of Pune and 22 participants from Long Board Crew India of Mumbai participated in the long boarding skate and also in the workshop that will be conducted simultaneously.

Among the various adventurous water sports included in the India Surf Festival beach volley ball, slack lining, zip lining, skurfing, parasailing, para motor ride, kite surfing were hosted along with beach sports, surfing music, surfing art as other major attractions at the ISF 2016.

    Wow…great,I visited Odisha 2016.I enjoyed the Surfing fastival, Visited Puri Jagannath Temple. Kanark and Bhubaneswer. I was staying in Bhubaneswer for a few days in Hotel Hindustan International. Again, I wish to visit Odisha.

    Drones covering Surfing is great, but do use them for killing Mosquitoes which are attacking us in the evening, morning and afternoon.
