The state government has approved a proposal to build a 9-storey government office at Unit V in Bhubaneswar.
The building would be constructed in front of Nirmana Soudha in Unit-V locality and its construction is likely to be over in two years. The budget allocated for the project is Rs. 123 crore, says reports.
The high-rise building would be constructed over a built-up area of 30,000 sq metre and will accommodate more than 2, 300 employees.
Each floor will have a seminar hall with a sitting capacity of 50 while the top floor will have a conference hall with a sitting capacity of 100.
The chief minister asked the officials to ensure that steps must be taken for having enough parking space for vehicles and energy conservation measures in the high-rise building.
