Four educational institutes from Odisha made it to the top 100 list of higher educational institutions in India, released by the HRD Ministry.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for higher educational institutions, the following institutes were ranked among country’s top hundred educational institutions.
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar – 33rd Position
National Institute of Technology, Rourkela – 46th Position
Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar – 66th Position
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar – 79th Position
In a separate list of the top 100 engineering colleges of country, the C.V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar appeared at the 92nd position while Xavier University, Bhubaneswar ranked 33rd place in the top 100 management institutes.
Bengaluru’s IISc Tops the List
The Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) bagged the top position in the top 100 university ranking apart from securing top rank in the overall ranking list while Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras came in a close second followed by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
Similarly, the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad in Gujarat emerged the top management institute as per the list released by the HRD ministry.
Moreover, Miranda House (Delhi), Loyola College (Chennai), and Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi) secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd spot in the list of top 100 colleges in the country.
